We all have mentors and guides along our journey of faith. For many of us there were teachers or parents or grandparents who moved in our lives to help us understand that we were loved and precious in the eyes of God As I've mentioned before, both of my Grandmothers were instrumental in my faith journey - and sometimes they even used words or music to teach me about God's love. Both Grandmothers were singers and so taught me hymns and refrains that still run through my heart every day.
But today I also wanted to give thanks for a few men who had a profound impact on my life and who guided me in faith. (My Dad - Herb; Archbishop Douglas Hambidge and Archbishop Andrew Hurchison...) Perhaps you could think of some great men in your life who have opened doors and provided a clear path of justice, peace and kindness?
