Our incumbent The Reverend Susan Hayward Brown has resigned from her ministry at St. Mark Qualicum Beach. We give thanks for the privilege of having Susan live amongst us with all her vibrancy. Susan epitomized the essence of joy in the Lord and led us in positive and loving ways. We will miss Susan’s involvement in every aspect of our church life. Her compassion for those in need and an interest in all whom she met will be sadly missed. Her joy in delivery of sermons, and applying biblical truth to every day situations will be remembered not only fondly but also as teaching moments. God chose St. Mark to be the parish that needed Susan’s vibrant personality and we have all been blessed with her gifts. Susan takes a piece of our hearts with her as she journeys onward. Nothing that Susan left behind will be lost and we will treasure her time with us. As Susan ventures on to new pastures we wish her nothing but the very best and are confident that she will spread her unique gifts wherever she goes.
Susan, our best wishes go with you in every new endeavour that you take on. Know you planted a garden of wonderful memories that the congregation of St. Mark Qualicum Beach BC will cherish. God shared you with us and we believe that He has wonderful things in store for you, Susan, and for His church of St Mark in Qualicum Beach.
We can take comfort in the knowledge that a sovereign God, who is involved in every detail of the life and ministry of our church watches over us and Susan.
Thanks Be To God.
